Massage by Ilene

Ilene and Jennifer have worked together off and on since 2011. Naturally, when Jennifer opened her own massage space, Ilene decided to sublet from her making this the 5th place they have shared in massage. Ilene has been added to Massage by JP to compliment Jennifer's time off and support Ilene in her part-time love in massage. Ilene works every other Saturday and takes cash or Venmo for payments. Credit cards are not accepted.

Ilene graduated from Cortiva School of Massage in 2011 after a career in education as a paraeducator. Upon graduating, she continued to work at Cortiva in a variety of roles deepening her understanding of bodywork. She brings her thoughtfulness of education and her knowledge of massage together to provide a nurturing and caring massage. She is an excellent listener not only verbally but also in hearing the subtle messages that your body tells during a massage. Ilene has a caring demeanor that allows you to fully relax on her table so she can gracefully address the physical tension that causes pain. Ilene brings lots of different techniques to your session but her greatest skill is in her head and neck massage. She will release the tension in your neck caused by stress or a persistent headache so you can ease through the rest of your days.

After years of being submerged in the massage community she decided to go back to school to become a School Psychologist. While she earned her degrees, she continued to massage and quickly realized that giving massage was just as therapeutic for her as it is for her clients. Ilene only works on weekends and during school breaks but don't let her limited hours get in the way of experiencing her truly therapeutic massage.
